Simple Ways To Create Good Fengshui

Do you believe in Fengshui?

I absolutely do! :)

My interests in Fengshui started in my late teens when I would spend hours at the library reading any Fengshui books that I can find and jot down important notes for self-learning and personal reference.

In the recent years, I got to know a well-known local Fengshui Grand Master and from his teaching, guidance and advanced knowledge, I have a better understanding on the concept and the fundamental of Fengshui that could improve personal luck, home life, relationships, health, career and more...

In Singapore, many famous landmarks in the country, such as Gardens By The Bay, Merlion Park, Marina Bay Sands, Jewel Changi Airport and Fountain of Wealth at Suntec City are tourist attractions, these architectural buildings are designed with specific Fengshui placements that would bring peace, harmony, wealth and prosperity. Even banks, hotels and restaurants all over the world hire professional Fengshui practitioners to audit the interior and exterior of their properties to generate good business.

Many successful business tycoon like, Jack Ma, Li Ka-Shing and famous celebrities like Steven Spielberg, Oprah Winfrey, and Madonna believe the power of Fengshui can enhance business wealth, career opportunities, fame and success.

People often asked..."Can Fengshui make you rich?"

In my honest opinion, I don't think Fengshui can make everyone rich. If so, no one will be working today.lol. However, Fengshui can help to attract wealth, helpful people, opportunities that can improve your luck, business, career and financial gain etc. I believe you in hard work, perseverance and self-discipline is the key to success and victory, but a little booster of Fengshui doesn't harm either.:)

Here are 5 simple ways to create good Fengshui :

Tip 1 :
Keep the house clean, tidy and bright. Open the windows everyday and let the sunlight in. If the living room is dark, add more lighting to increase positive energy. Clear away clutters, remove all broken objects, rotten plants, damaged furniture and faulty electrical appliances. The front door and walkway should not be obstructed with any bulky items, keep the entrance neat and spacious to allow good energy to flow freely.

Tip 2 :
Do NOT keep any medication on the dining table. Taking medicines at the dining table leads to poor health and prolonged sickness. Keep all medication in the cabinet. Place only food items at the dining area.

Tip 3 :
Eating together as a family is a blessing. It builds stronger bonding, happiness, harmony that promote good energy in a household. A home filled with joy and laughter is good Fengshui.

Tip 4 :
Do NOT store anything under the bed. Avoid putting books, toys, old photos or junks underneath, this may cause mental stress, sleepless nights, arguments and poor concentration. Clear the bed area to improve sleep quality.

Tip 5 :
Everything around us, people, things and places have Yin and Yang energy.(Chi) Stay away from negativity. Don't participate in any gossips and nasty acts, as what goes around comes around, it's only a matter of time. Always practice kindness and gratitude. Embrace your moral values. Be filial to your parents, be kind to others, help the needy and spread positive vibes! Good karma attracts good fortune and blessings.

*Bonus Tip*
To increase wealth and money luck, use a long wallet/purse. Black or Brown is recommended.

I use a long purse, it contains my ID, cash, credit cards and driving licence. Do not keep receipts, clinic cards, discount coupons etc. (You can put them in a card case if you like) Change a new wallet if the old one is torn, dirty or discolored. A wallet is a storage of your personal wealth, so get a good one to preserve your finance and income.

Well, some people may feel that Fengshui is just some superstitious beliefs, but the ideology and the practice of Fengshui has a long history over more than 3000 years, since the ancient time till the modern world today.

Fengshui isn't just about placing exquisite lucky ornaments, water fountains, crystal balls and fortune cat etc.. Each direction, colors, numbers, 5 Elements, bazi, birth charts, represents different aspects in Fengshui analysis.

(*The Golden Luo Pan is a Fengshui Compass to determine and calculate the precise directions of the premises. Use for homes and office.)

Fengshui Facts :

Life isn't a smooth sailing journey, there will be challenges and setbacks along the way. Fengshui may improve your life, but keep in mind that it is NOT a magic tool and definitely not the antidotes to solve all the problems. Sometimes, we still have to experience some hard lessons to elevate our strength and wisdom to be a better person.

Nothing comes easy in life, we reap what we sow, without hard work and consistent efforts, there is no long-lasting results and rewards.

My principles of rule is, as long as it is not illegal and not hurting anyone, it's OK to practice what you believe and what makes you feel at ease.

Understand that the main objective of Fengshui is to create a good balance environment with positive energy (Chi) that encourage good fortune, happiness, success and prosperity that will improve your quality of life.

2023 is the year of the water Rabbit. I hope it will be better year for all. Here's wishing everyone a happy and a prosperous new year with great opportunities and abundance of blessings.

Have a fun Chinese New Year celebration and Gong Xi Fa Cai! 🧧🍊🍊

Best Lessons of 2020 ⭐

I love December!

For me, it's a time for self-reflection, express gratitude and to recap the summary of events as we countdown to the new year...

2020 has been a roller coaster ride and an overwhelming year for everyone. Many uncertainties, drastic changes, restrictions, new routines and we find ourselves moving in a slow motion...It's an extraordinary year for the generation, a year we will never forget!

Life isn't the same today, but let us stay strong and be positive always! Though the battle is not over yet, but give yourself a pad on the shoulder that we have made it this far and we will continue our best efforts to keep our family, loved ones and our community safe.

Despite all the challenges this year, there are many important lessons learned. Every crisis teaches us something new and the value of life. (*At least for me)

2020 has taught me...

1. Health Is The Greatest Wealth!
An outbreak can strike anytime without warning. A virus can be fatal and impose global health risks. No matter how wealthy you are, money can't buy health. Staying healthy and practice good hygiene is so important.

2. Never Take Anything For Granted
Life is precious and fragile. We watched many heartbreaking news, misfortune events and losses during this pandemic...Cherish your life and count your blessings. Spend quality time with your family/kids and create happy memories. Show love, affections and appreciation. Family time is priceless. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

3. Nothing Is Permanent.
I believe all problems have a solution. The storm shall pass and the sun will rise again!"When it rains, look for rainbows and when it's dark, look for stars..."

4. Value Friendships.
Friends come and go but the true ones stay! Difficult times reveal the truth of friendships. It's not the quantity of friends you have, it's the quality that matters. Real friends are hard to come by. Don't lose them.

5. Know Your Strength.
Human beings are capable to adapt changes. The initial stage is always a struggle but gradually, we will adjust to the new normal. Changes is part of life.

6. Slow Down and Breathe.
The outbreak has 'forced' us to slow down and plans are put on hold. It might not be a bad thing to take a break and make time for yourself, to recharge & re-evaluate your priorities/goals. The road is long and life is not a race.

7. Be Who You Are.
We don't need to impress anyone...and we can't please the world. Be yourself, stop competing with everyone and don't compare your life to others. There will always be someone smarter, stronger, richer and better. We all have our strengths and weaknesses. Just do your best! The Sun and the Moon shines when it's their time.

8. Create Opportunities.
No one is too young or too old to learn anything. Stepping out of the comfort zone can bring new opportunities and explore new talents. The outbreak may restrict our movements but it doesn't stop us from learning. Don't wait for the 'perfect' time, the truth is you will never feel 100% ready, so just go for it!

9. It's OK To Make Mistakes.
We all make mistakes sometimes. No one is perfect, don't judge or beat yourself up. Every setback is another lesson. Learn from it and move on.

10. Be Flexible & Go With The Flow.
Many plans are cancelled or postponed due to the pandemic, I know it's disappointing when we can't travel this year but you don't always have to travel overseas to have fun and be happy. A staycay or an outing can be entertaining and exciting too. The Disney trip can wait...

In life, we can't always control the situations the way we want it, but we can learn to be resilient, accept changes, control our thoughts and focus on the positive side of every situation. Sometimes we have to motivate ourselves when no one else will. Tough times make us stronger and wiser, we will gain more knowledge, have better visions, and a broader prospective at the end of the day.

Remember that...Tough Situations Build Strong People!

The Spirit Of Christmas...

Lessons I Learned From My Mom🌹

Mother's Day is a beautiful occasion to celebrate motherhood, maternal bonds and the contributions of mothers in our society.

My mother has inspired me to be a better and stronger person today. Kind, loving and generous. She is one of the strongest and toughest woman I ever known. A woman full of strength and courage, she never back down and she is always positive about life in every situation. My mom is someone whom I look up to, an amazing woman I truly respect and admire...

In honor of Mother's Day, this is a blog to express my appreciation and gratitude for her hard work, sacrifices and the valuable life lessons my mom has taught me.

Important Life Lessons From Mom :

Family comes first
Always protect your family and love your children unconditionally. Nothing in the world is more important than family.

Learn to cook
My mom is a great cook! She believes,
"A way to a man's heart is through his stomach...'' (Oh mom...😅) When I was little, she would asked me to help in the kitchen, chopping the onions, garlic, pounding the spices and I would watched her cook everyday. She believes home-cooked meals are the best and much healthier. With the culinary skills today, I enjoy cooking & baking because it's a joy to cook for the family.

Treat everyone the same
Never be arrogant. Whether they are cabbies or the CEOs, everyone deserves respect and to be treated equally.

Be kind and help others
Kindness is a virtue. My mom has a heart of gold. She would help the poor, the needy and the less fortunate. I do volunteer work because I believe in giving back to the society, to offer help and support to our community. The world need more empathy and compassion.

Have more patience
Well, I have to admit this is a tough one...I'm not the most patient person in the world, but I will try my best to work on it!

Never give up
Like a warrior, my mom is a fighter, she taught me to be brave and strong, to keep trying and never give up hope no matter how hard the situation is! "Where there is life, there is hope..."

Keep some money aside
Save for a rainy day. Ah yes...a wise advice! Always keep some extra cash or a reserved fund, you never know when you need it!

Keep learning and exploring
As a child, my mom would encourage me to follow my passion, interests and to keep learning as much as possible. She never stop me from playing music or joining the singing contests, etc... Even when I didn't do much to make her proud, she never rain on my parade. She is always there to cheer for me and I thank her for believing in me.

Choose your friends wisely
It doesn't matter how big the circle of friends you have, it's the TRUE ones that matters!
Friends can influence your thoughts, actions and behaviors, so be careful who you surround yourself with. Mama is right!

Live with integrity
My mom live a honest and humble life. She taught me the values of being true and upright, to speak with honesty and act with integrity. I raise my head high, each and every day...

Be thankful
Despite all the storms and difficult times, my mom doesn't complain. She is always grateful about life and counting the blessings...

Life doesn't come with a manual, it comes with a mother. I thank my mom for being there to support and guide me over the years...

Sometimes, we may not share the same views, beliefs or have different ways of expressing ourselves, but in the end... All mothers have the best interests at heart for the children and the family.

...The combination of the purest love, kindness and patience can never be replaced...🌹

My Mom, My Hero! 💖

Mama,

As I flip through the old photo albums again, it brings back so many random memories...

I still remember how you pat me to sleep every night...you must be so tired, I was such a clingy child!

I remember you will always buy my favorite Ice-cream when I asked for one. I always get the biggest cone!

I remember you took care of me when I was sick for weeks. I know you were so worried, so exhausted...You didn't get much sleep and had to get up early to work every day.

I remember you were peeping through the windows to check on me, during my first day of school. I know you were as nervous as me...

I remember you rushed down to school when you forgot about my pocket money for recess. I could never forget that anxious look on your face.

I remember the day I got hurt and injured my leg. You were shaken and helpless when you saw me screaming in pain. You rushed me to the nearest clinic. I know you were crying inside and it breaks your heart to see the bandage on my leg.

I remember that night you cried silently in your room when I didn't get good grades for my exams. I'm sorry that I let you down, I'm sorry that I made you cry, but please believe that I really tried...

I remember you warned me about the boys! You would nag all day and wait for me at the void deck when I came home late. I was mad at you for being controlling and overly protective but I know you did that because you care for me and want me to be home safe. I know you will always protect me and watch my back!

I remember you were hiding at the backstage during my performance in a singing contest. I saw you in the crowd later, smiling at me with a big thumb up when I made it to the finals. I think I made you proud that day!

I remember you were so happy for me when I got my driving license when I was 19, I took you out for a spin and we had a great celebration!

I remember you held my hands tightly, the day I got married...I saw the happy tears in your eyes during the tea ceremony, but I know you felt very emotional that day...

Mama, I know how much you love me, you have done so much over the years that I could never possibly list everything down here. No matter what I have done, you forgive me and you never give up on me! You always encourage me and give me support. You are always there to share my happiness and sadness.

Life was tough on you but you fought bravely and conquered the battles. I admire your strength and courage... You have taught me to be strong, to be positive and never to give up in life! You have a heart of gold. You taught me to be kind, selfless and to help others in need. You have raised me well and built a warrior in me! I have become a stronger and braver person today because of you. I will always teach my children the way you taught me.

Your hair has turned grey and your hands are wrinkled now, but in my eyes...you are always that beautiful and caring Angel who will always protect me and keep me safe from harm. Thank you so much for believing in me and taking good care of me. I'm truly grateful for your unconditional love, kindness, guidance and support.

No words or gifts can ever repay your love but still, I want to say a big thank you for everything you have done. You will always be my hero! Someone whom I look up to...I Love You, Mama!

I am writing this blog to express my appreciation and gratitude to my dear Mama for Mother's Day and I dedicate this to all the amazing mothers out there who truly deserve the highest respect and affirmation for their hard work and sacrifices. Motherhood is one of the most challenging job in the world but a very rewarding one as well.

Mother's Day is just a few days away but you can show love any day, any time! You don't have to wait for Mother's day to buy her a gift, give her a treat or take her out for a meal...

Everyday can be Mother's Day too! 😉

Pick up the phone, give your Mom a call..give her a big warm hug and tell her how much you love her! That would be the sweetest and a priceless gift for every mother!

Happy Mother's Day! Have a beautiful day filled with love, laughter and lots of cuddles! 👸😍💕🌷

Share this post to all the Supermoms in the world.. With love & blessings! ♥️
