Canon introduces their latest Video-Centric Cameras. The new series PowerShot V1 and EOS R50V is lightweight, portable, user friendly that features advanced innovations to elevate creativity and a better version for the new generation of content creating, vlogging, immersive photography and beyond!

Mr Andrew Koh, the Senior Vice President & Head of Singapore Operation Group, Canon Singapore presented a speech and showcased the creative work from some of our local content creators.

As a blogger and a content creator, I love taking photos and making videos. "A Picture Speaks A Thousand Words." Hence, good quality, high resolution images are appealing that enhance our content, articles, documentary, video-making etc. A multi-functional dynamic camera is indeed an essential tool to support our creation.

Canon has always been one of my favorite choices for cameras, I have been using many of their products for years and I am honored to attend this amazing media event! It was a fantastic opportunity to network and learn about the latest industry trends.

 

 

 

The event was enjoyable and well-organised. I love the cool venue and the chilling vibes, it was clear that the organizers had prioritized creating a comfortable and inspiring setting for the guests. The showcase presentation was unique and impressive! The atmosphere was electric, lively and welcoming and of course, great food and drinks brings good times! 🥂
 

A special shout-out to the Canon team and partners for putting together such a successful event, it was a great pleasure to be a part of it!😉

[Highlights] Family Fest Carnival 2025 @Heartland

Family time at a carnival is pure magic! It's about the shared happiness, the thrill of fun rides, the lively atmosphere, the happy chaos and hanging out with dear friends and loved ones! Those are sweet memories that last a lifetime, strengthening our bonds and filling our hearts...

SG60 Family Fest @Heartland...

I love family outings and recently I had a wonderful time celebrating SG60 with the residents.

The family fest carnival was a whirlwind of cool activities, yummy treats, desserts, bouncy slides, car show, live fireworks, stage performance and more...

It was drizzling in early evening when we arrived, but it didn't stop the fun, we were chilling and having a good time at the carnival! The energy is vibrant and lots of great entertainments for everyone!

Personally, I love fast cars and I spent a good hour admiring, taking pictures and checking them out! 😎

The sleek lines and powerful engines of sports cars have always captivated me, and seeing them on display today was a real treat for automotive enthusiast like me! The Pink Porsche and Green McLaren caught my attention! The striking colors, innovative designs, and sheer power were exhilarating. It's an amazing sight and I'm glad to be there!

Light Up The Sky!!! 🎆

The crowd gathered together waiting patiently as we count down for the fireworks!

                                                    

Watching the fireworks display live filled me with so much joy and excitement as we celebrate SG60 together in the community! The colors blasting against the night sky were so beautiful and breathtaking! Wherever the place is, I never get tired watching live fireworks! 😍

The SG60 Family Fest was totally awesome and it's been a fabulous evening with my family and favourite homies! My kids enjoyed the event and it warms my heart to see many happy faces and sweet families bonding together in an event.

It was truly another heart-warming and wholesome event! We left the carnival with full bellies, goodie bags and joyful hearts!

Family time is important and priceless! Every fun outing is a day well-spent! I love to capture beautiful moments and document special occasions in my blog and I look forward to more fun community events to come! 😉

I read and write a lot as a blogger.

Sometimes, I need to sit in front of my laptop for long hours for my work assignments/projects etc...Hence, good lightings brings comfort for my eyes and reading pleasure.

GEWR 2024 : Mummy + Me Women's Race (Finisher Medals Achieved)🏅🏅

The Great Eastern Women's Run (GEWR 2024) was held at Singapore Sports Hub (National Stadium) on 27 Oct 2024. It was an all-women's race with more than 12000 participants.

There are a few categories for the women's race : 21.5Km, 10Km, 5Km, 2Km Mummy+Me (5-12yo) and 100m Princess Dash.(3-6yo)

Initially, I planned to sign up for the 5km run as an individual, but since my daughter is really keen to join the event, we signed up for the 2KM Mummy + Me Category instead. The distance is much shorter but I think it's a good start for young children, especially when they are first timers.

 

This is the first time I'm running with my 9yo daughter (*Girl in pink cap) and I enjoy this sweet maternal bonding activity.💞

Let's Run..My Little Warrior!🏃‍♀️

We arrived at the stadium around 7:30 am. It was a lovely morning and a nice weather for outdoor activities. Minister Mr Edwin Tong flagged off the 2km race at 8am and here we go...

The road was closed for the event, it was pretty crowded but still a smooth flow and we moved in a steadily speed. Every runner is so excited and eager to reach the finishing line within the cut-off time to receive our medals.

Keep Going...Never Quit! 💪

At some point, my daughter was feeling a little tired and I told her... "S, it's normal to feel tired..just keep walking but don't quit. We are almost there!😎" Every child need some words of encouragement and motivation. We made it and finished the race in less than 30mins.Yay!✌️

   

Our Mummy + Me Finisher Medals! 🏅🏅

                

The 2km run is fairly easy and manageable for majority of the adults & older kids but the most challenging part is running and videoing at the same time,lol..but I have to capture and document these precious moments, it's all worth it! 🥰

The medal is super cute with Cinnamoroll on it. My daughter is over the moon with her first medal and I am really proud of my baby for completing the race. We took lots of photos together and I hope this medal will motivate my daughter to achieve her goals as she grows...

Relax, Recharge and Enjoy...

       

     

We got some energy boosters and refreshments after the race, there were fun activities at the stadium for everyone, my daughter was thrilled to see Cinnamoroll dancing on the stage. Awww...He is so kawaii that I want to cuddle!!! 😊

My personal goal for this year is to achieve 3 medals by end of 2024 and I did it! I'm not much of an athlete nor a professional runner but I do enjoy sports!🏀 Every award/medal means a lot to me, it reminds me of the efforts, perseverance and determination to complete the race! Every participation feels different and very memorable experiences for me.

Running/doing sports is a great way to build stamina, physical health, willpower, inner strength and more...

I look forward to more sports/running events with my family & friends and to achieve more medals to my best abilities! 😎💪

I'm pleased to be part of this fabulous event, it's amazing to meet so many incredible women, mummies, sisters, daughters coming together for this running event to empower wellness, fitness, and embracing an active, healthy lifestyle!
