Royal Eternity Tea ~ The Mommywarrior77 Blog

Chinese tea has a rich culture and a long history for over thousands of years. In ancient time, tea was considered a luxury product for nobility. Today, tea is one of the daily necessities that is consumed regularly for both casual and formal occasions around the world.

Chinese tea is generally classified into 6 distinctive categories; White, Green, Yellow, Oolong, Black and Post-Fermented.

Tea is a healthy drink, rich in high antioxidants that is good for our body. Numerous research have shown that drinking tea regularly promotes health benefits such as, anti-aging, improve digestion system, relieve stress, reduce the risk of heart diseases and the list goes on... Indeed, tea is a popular beverage to maintain a healthy lifestyle, as long as taken in moderation.

As a tea lover as most of my friends know, I have been drinking tea for years, it's a comfort drink for me and a daily booster to start the day.

Jasmine Green Tea and Da Hong Pao (Big Red Robe Tea) are my favorite. Drinking tea helps me to relax, concentrate my work and I feel refreshed throughout the day. I enjoy my tea anytime, at home or with my Tea Kakis. Well, "A Cup Of Tea A Day, Keeps The Worries Away! "πŸ˜‰

Modern Tea house is a popular lifestyle spot for many tea lovers/connoisseurs from all walks of life.

Royal Eternity Tea House (ζ΄›εŸθŒΆδΊ‹) is located in the Central Region of Singapore, between Tanjong Pagar and Chinatown. The interior is elegant and classy, displayed with antique art piece, Chinese paintings and tea set collections on both floors, including facilities and amenities suited to hold corporate functions, private events and many other activities...

The meeting rooms are luxurious and spacious. The cosy and soothing ambience allow the guests to socialize, unwind, relax and enjoy a sanctuary tea session with family and friends.

The Serenity Ambience...

Chinese tea symbolizes harmony, peace and loyalty. In Chinese culture, Tea Ceremony ('Jing Cha') is an important custom for the newlyweds on ROM, Solemnization and Wedding, to express gratitude to both parents/elders and it signify the approval of marriage.

So if you are planning for a heartwarming tea ceremony, the traditional Teahouse is an excellent choice, for the special and memorable occasion.

If you are a fan of tea, I'm sure you will be interested to know more about Tea Culture & Etiquette. Tea is often tasted to appreciate the delicate flavor and fragrance.

Here's the Basic Tea Etiquette to enjoy the marvelous taste of Chinese tea the next time you step into a Tea House. (*That's what I usually do😊)

How To Enjoy Chinese Tea? (Basic Steps)

1. Hold the cup upright with both hands. A gentle bow to show respect and appreciation to the host.

2. Inhale and smell the fragrance of the tea leaves before drinking.

3. Take a small sip first.

4. Empty the cup in 3 sips.

5. Feel the flavor of tea lingers.

In traditional Tea house, Tea-Appreciation is a refined art that requires skillful techniques, knowledge, brewing time/temperature and proper tea accessories to optimize the quality of the taste for different tea leaves.

The guests will be served with the finest tea, in the comfort and pleasure at Royal Eternity Tea House!

"Life is like making tea. Boil your ego, evaporate your worries, dilute your sorrows, filter your mistakes and get the taste of happiness."

Personally, I feel that tea is more than just a drink. It's the philosophy of life in my opinion. So take a break, sit back and enjoy the essence of life in a cup!

Tea sessions are great bondings with family and loved ones for any occasions...

25 December 2020

Best Lessons of 2020 ⭐

I love December!

For me, it's a time for self-reflection, express gratitude and to recap the summary of events as we countdown to the new year...

2020 has been a roller coaster ride and an overwhelming year for everyone. Many uncertainties, drastic changes, restrictions, new routines and we find ourselves moving in a slow motion...It's an extraordinary year for the generation, a year we will never forget!

Life isn't the same today, but let us stay strong and be positive always! Though the battle is not over yet, but give yourself a pad on the shoulder that we have made it this far and we will continue our best efforts to keep our family, loved ones and our community safe.

Despite all the challenges this year, there are many important lessons learned. Every crisis teaches us something new and the value of life. (*At least for me)

2020 has taught me...

1. Health Is The Greatest Wealth!
An outbreak can strike anytime without warning. A virus can be fatal and impose global health risks. No matter how wealthy you are, money can't buy health. Staying healthy and practice good hygiene is so important.

2. Never Take Anything For Granted
Life is precious and fragile. We watched many heartbreaking news, misfortune events and losses during this pandemic...Cherish your life and count your blessings. Spend quality time with your family/kids and create happy memories. Show love, affections and appreciation. Family time is priceless. πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘©‍πŸ‘§‍πŸ‘¦

3. Nothing Is Permanent.
I believe all problems have a solution. The storm shall pass and the sun will rise again!"When it rains, look for rainbows and when it's dark, look for stars..."

4. Value Friendships.
Friends come and go but the true ones stay! Difficult times reveal the truth of friendships. It's not the quantity of friends you have, it's the quality that matters. Real friends are hard to come by. Don't lose them.

5. Know Your Strength.
Human beings are capable to adapt changes. The initial stage is always a struggle but gradually, we will adjust to the new normal. Changes is part of life.

6. Slow Down and Breathe.
The outbreak has 'forced' us to slow down and plans are put on hold. It might not be a bad thing to take a break and make time for yourself, to recharge & re-evaluate your priorities/goals. The road is long and life is not a race.

7. Be Who You Are.
We don't need to impress anyone...and we can't please the world. Be yourself, stop competing with everyone and don't compare your life to others. There will always be someone smarter, stronger, richer and better. We all have our strengths and weaknesses. Just do your best! The Sun and the Moon shines when it's their time.

8. Create Opportunities.
No one is too young or too old to learn anything. Stepping out of the comfort zone can bring new opportunities and explore new talents. The outbreak may restrict our movements but it doesn't stop us from learning. Don't wait for the 'perfect' time, the truth is you will never feel 100% ready, so just go for it!

9. It's OK To Make Mistakes.
We all make mistakes sometimes. No one is perfect, don't judge or beat yourself up. Every setback is another lesson. Learn from it and move on.

10. Be Flexible & Go With The Flow.
Many plans are cancelled or postponed due to the pandemic, I know it's disappointing when we can't travel this year but you don't always have to travel overseas to have fun and be happy. A staycay or an outing can be entertaining and exciting too. The Disney trip can wait...

In life, we can't always control the situations the way we want it, but we can learn to be resilient, accept changes, control our thoughts and focus on the positive side of every situation. Sometimes we have to motivate ourselves when no one else will. Tough times make us stronger and wiser, we will gain more knowledge, have better visions, and a broader prospective at the end of the day.

Remember that...Tough Situations Build Strong People!

The Spirit Of Christmas...

It's Christmas time again. A joyful season of hope, giving and sharing. I take this opportunity to do a shout-out to my dear friends who are always there for me, I truly appreciate your time, comfort and sensible advice, (You know who you are! 😘)
